“The Hill in Windham” is my tribute to the Windham Hill sound that shaped my life in the 1980s during a difficult family chapter — and again decades later, as I recovered from a near‑fatal car accident in 2018 and a life‑threatening surgical complication in 2022.
Windham Hill’s music held me together during my darkest moments. This composition is my way of honoring that lineage, while also marking my return to music after years of recovery and rebuilding.
I’m grateful beyond words to have Will Ackerman and Michael Manring join me on this piece. Their presence brings a deep authenticity and emotional truth that I hope listeners will feel.
